The West Gippsland Medical Clinic policy states that patients must make an appointment to see their doctor in order to discuss and receive results. This is to make sure that appropriate actions are taken and results are communicated properly.

We know that test results are an important part in your treatment. Reception staff will not report test results to patients under any circumstances.

Please be advised, test results are confidential and will only be given to you directly, unless you give permission for your doctor to communicate them to another person on your behalf.
